Travelling by car

The car parks at the Brauneck Bergbahn valley station are free of charge.
The car parks in Wegscheid on the Draxl- and Jaudenhang are subject to a charge. However, if you purchase a ski pass or eat at the Draxlstüberl, Jaudenstadl or Kotalm, the fee will be refunded.
Are you a holder of an Alpen Plus season ski pass?
If you entered your licence plate number when purchasing the season ski pass, you are automatically registered with this licence plate number and the barrier opens automatically.
By train and bus (MVV)
The Bayerische Regiobahn takes you from Munich to Lenggries every hour. Lenggries is part of the MVV fare zone 7.
With a valid MVV single day ticket or MVV group day ticket, you and every other person travelling on the MVV ticket receive a €1.50 discount on the ascent and descent.
Take the BRB(RB 56) in the direction of Lenggries and get off in Lenggries. The valley station is a good 2 km from the railway station. You can reach it on foot in around 25 minutes or take the bus (lines 395, 364 or 353), which will take you directly from the railway station to the Brauneckbahn valley station.
In winter there is also a ski bus (399) - it runs from 25.12.25 to 31.03.26.
