DAV carpool bench on the Brauneck

A few days ago, a nice green DAV carpool bench was installed at Brauneck. Anyone who sits on it is signalling that they are looking for a lift.

The aim of the DAV is to bridge the so-called "last mile" between railway stations and hiking starting points flexibly, easily and all year round. You are welcome to try it out!

This is how it works:

1. discover the carpool bench and take a seat: On the Brauneck, the bench is located at the entrance to the car park at the valley station of the cable car.

2. signal your wish for a lift: Do you need a lift after the hike? Then let passing hikers who are on their way to the car park know: I'm waiting for a friendly lift.

3. hop on by arrangement: Discuss whether the route and destination match.

4. set off together: Once everything has been clarified, you travel together to the next station or an agreed destination
